Websites
What a good website for a clinic should include
The things patients look for before they call or book an appointment.
Patients look for trust first
Before they call, patients want to know who will examine them, what the clinic looks like and whether others were happy. A clinic’s website is therefore not an advert but a place that reassures. Clear, tidy and without exaggeration.
What the website must have
Patients most often look for:
Online appointment booking
The biggest difference between an average and a good clinic website. A patient chooses a doctor, sees the free slots and books without calling, even in the evening when the clinic is closed. You get a calendar, and the phone rings less. It’s especially useful for dentists, physiotherapists and opticians, where most visits are booked in advance.
It has to work on a phone
Most visits to clinic websites come from phones, often while someone is sitting in another doctor’s waiting room or looking for help for a child. If the site loads slowly or the buttons are hard to see, the patient moves on to the next result.
A patient won’t hunt for your phone number around the site. If they don’t see it in three seconds, they call someone else.
What you don’t need
Stock photos of smiling models, long technical texts and animations that slow the site down. Real photos of your clinic and your team are worth more than anything bought.
The short answer
A good clinic website clearly shows who you are, what you do and what it costs, works fast on a phone and lets patients book on their own. We usually build one in three to six weeks, depending on whether it includes booking.
